RIVERTON 64, SPANISH FORK 45: After a rough opening first quarter in which Riverton fell behind 11, the Silverwolves rolled the rest of the way to advance to the semifinals of the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Brandon Sly scored 16 points to lead the way, and was one of three Riverton players who scored in double figures.

KEARNS 63, LAYTON 58: Dacraeon Vines scored 17 points and Bushman Ebet chipped in with 15, as Kearns held off Layton in a wild game at the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Both teams combined for 60 points in the fourth quarter.

CHAPARRAL, ARIZ. 67, OREM 65: Despite 34 points from Dalton Nixon, Orem lost a heartbreaker for the second straight day at the Visitmesa.com Tournament in Phoenix.

JUAB 56, BEN LOMOND 41: Juab used a strong second and third quarter to pull away from Ben Lomond and improve to 7-2 on the season. Jeff Rowley led the Wasps with 21 points, while Dillon Douglas adding 15.

TIMPANOGOS 52, NORTHRIDGE 51: Zach Facemyer drained a pair of free throws with 1.6 seconds remaining as Timpanogos rallied past Northridge for the consolation bracket victory at the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Facemyer led Timpanogos with 15 points, while Northridge’s Jake Bigler led all scorers with 27.

MORGAN 69, HUNTER 62: Garren Miles poured in a career-high 31 points, as Morgan overcame an early deficit to advance to the semifinals of the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Noah Togiai scored 23 points in the loss for Hunter.

COPPER HILLS 55, BAINBRIDGE, WASH. 54: Trevor Hoffman, Charlie Olsen and Preston Sanchez all scored 11 points, as Copper Hills eeked out a victory over Bainbridge, Washington to advance to Monday’s champoinship game of the Slam Division at the San Diego Surf ‘N Slam.

TAYLORSVILLE 67, SKYLINE 57: Sidney Freeman poured in 36 points, as Taylorsville outscored Skyline 21-12 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the consolation bracket victory at the Riverton Holiday Tournament.

TABIONA 57, BRYCE VALLEY 45: Demont Nay drained three treys on his way to 20 points for the Tigers.

SALEM HILLS 42, CEDAR 37: Porter Gustin led Salem Hills with 10 points Friday night, as the Sky Hawks never relinquished the lead after a 14-7 first quarter start. Dustin Staggs netted 13 points for in the loss for Cedar.

HURRICANE 59, ENTERPRISE 53: Cody LeBaron scored a game-high 21 points, while Jordan Ence contributed nine rebounds to help Hurricane slip past Enterprise in the Blue & Gold Tourney. Justin Prisbey led Enterprise with 17 points and seven assists in the loss.

GUNNISON 63, SAN JUAN 51: Kaz Mogle finished with a game-high 21 points, as Gunnison outscored San Juan 25-8 in the fourth quarter to zip past the Lady Broncos.

AMERICAN FORK 56, DE LA SALLE, CALIF. 47: American Fork outscored De La Salle, Calif. 26-20 in the second half to pull away for the consolation bracket victory at the MaxPreps Holiday. Ryan Andrus led the way with 19 points.

BOUNTIFUL 72, CORNER CANYON 42: Sam Merrill scored 19 points, Zac Seljaas added 16 and Jordan Bleak chipped in with 11 as Bountiful rolled past Corner Canyon in nonregion action behind 13 3-pointers.

SOUTH SUMMIT 52, PARK CITY 45: Beau Rydalch and Brad Richins each scored 18 points for South Summit, as the home team narrowly bested Summit County foe Park City. Bosten VanDerVeur poured in 24 points in the Miners loss.

PLEASANT GROVE 66, VILLA PARK, CALIF. 58: Mark Sheffield scored 22 points and Matt Conway added 18 as Pleasant Grove topped Villa Park, Calif. to wrap up pool play at the MaxPreps Holiday Classic with a perfect record.

SOUTH SEVIER 57, KANAB 48: Bo Gentry and Trevor Jones combined for 23 points, as South Sevier finished strong for its second win on the season. Make Bate managed to net 16 points in the Kanab loss.

BEAVER 64, MAESER PREP 23: Beaver overwhelmed Maeser Prep from the opening whistle, racing to a 23-3 first-quarter lead en route to the win. Ten different players scored for the Beavers led by Michael Roberts’ 13 points.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 61, CYPRUS 57: Summit Academy held off Cyprus to advance in the consolation bracket of the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Zach Scott led the Bears with 19 points.

TIMPVIEW 66, JUAN DIEGO 54: Gavin Baxter led Timpview with a 18 point 10 rebound double-double night at the Riverton Holiday Tournament. Riley Corbin contributed 18 points in the T-Birds victory.

RICH 71, WEST SIDE, IDAHO 53: Mckay Jarman, Wyatt Muirbrook and Caden Barthlome each scored 14 points to help the Rebels cruise past West Side, Idaho. Rich outscored the visitors 42-24 in the second half of the blowout victory over West Side.

BONNEVILLE 55, OLYMPUS 28: Cortney Porter scored 16 points as the Lakers closed the game on a 13-3 run in the lopsided win over Olympus.

CARBON 51, SNOW CANYON 34: Shelby Cornforth dropped in 19 points to lead Carbon to a sold win at Snow Canyon. Grace Walton put up 16 points in the loss at home.

ESCALANTE 49, WHITEHORSE 43: Shelby Steed and Audrey Lindsey combined for 27 points as Escalante held off Whitehorse for the victory in the consolation game of the San Juan Tournament.

UINTAH 57, HUNTER 48: Kaitlin Meyers led three Utes in double figures with 13 points, as Uintah held defensively to pick up the nonregion win over Hunter.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 34, SAN JUAN 33: Jessica Brown scored 14 points, as American Leadership surprised San Juan on its home floor to win the championship game of the San Juan Tournament.

HIGHLAND 53, STANSBURY 45: Shayla Kime finished with 12 points and seven rebounds to lead Highland over visiting Stansbury. The Lady Rams outscored Stansbury 15-8 in the fourth quarter.

BRYCE VALLEY 45, TABIONA 23: Edith Garcia and Ashlee Chynoweth scored 13 points each, with Garcia adding eight rebounds, to pace Bryce Valley to the nonregion victory over Tabiona.

TIMPVIEW 60, PLEASANT GROVE 38: Timpview’s Lauryn De la Cruz and Lyndie Haddock combined for 43 points to lead Timpview to a blowout victory over Pleasant Grove.

HERRIMAN 42, DAVIS 34: Alexi Smith scored 17 points, as the Mustangs held the Darts to just two points in the second quarter.

JUAB 39, GUNNISON 31: Rylee Bryan and Ally Nelson combined for 28 points, and Juab managed to hold off a late Gunnison rally to secure the road victory.

GRAND 59, NORTH SEVIER JV 37: Shailee Croasmun scored a game-high 17 points, while Brook Shultz added 10 points to help Grand cruise by North Sevier JV on the road.

WAYNE 56, DUCHESNE 37: Four players found the basket as the Badgers won at their own Wayne Holiday Classic. Kali Pei led all scorers with 17 points.

ENTERPRISE 43, PIUTE 42: Darbye Moyle netting the game-winning jumper with five seconds remaining to lift Enterprise over Piute in dramatic fashion. Dakota Robinson powered Enterprise with a game-high 20 points.

NORTH SEVIER 71, EL CAPITAN, ARIZ. 16: Hailey Higgs scored 13 points, while Cassidee Shepherd added 15 points to help North Sevier in the lopsided victory over El Capitan.
