SOUTH SUMMIT 13, MORGAN 12: South Summit came up with a big stop in the red zone in the final minute of play to secure the come-from-behind victory over visiting Morgan.
SAN JUAN 14, MONTICELLO 0: Bronze Eldredge hauled in a pair of third-quarter touchdown passes from Terrance Tate as San Juan overcame a sluggish first half to top Monticello.
BEAVER 37, KANAB 6: Michael Roberts and Bailey Bradshaw both returned interceptions for touchdowns, and Matthew Roberts returned a fumble for another as Beaver rolled past Kanab to improve to 2-0.
RICHFIELD 35, SOUTH SEVIER 6: Richfield's Ellis Brody was stellar in the backfield as the Richfield Wildcats blew past South Sevier. Brody finished the night with three scores.
PAROWAN 22, DIAMOND RANCH 9: Parowan cruised to victory over Diamond Ranch behind the performances of Justice Walker and Caleb Murphy. Walker caught two TD receptions in the first half, one for 28 yards and one for 76 yards, and Murphy bombed three TD passes in the game, two of which went for over 65 yards to lead the Rams' offense.
GUNNISON 29, NORTH SEVIER 20: Tyson Moosman completed 9 of 26 passes for 162 yards and two touchowns as Gunnison built a big lead and held off North Sevier to improve to 2-0. Jayden Rogers came up huge for the Bulldogs, carrying the ball 26 times for 164 yards and two TDs.
RICH 20, SUMMIT ACADEMY 6: McKay Jarman scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns, and Rich's defense held Summit Academy scoreless until the final minute of the game to lift the Rebels to the season-opening victory. Benjamin Groll added a rushing touchdown in the second quarter for Rich.
AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 28, CARBON 14: Lincoln Henderson scored twice for the Eagles, giving American Leadership the edge on the road. Jeff Gardner scored on an 80-yard fumble recovery and Neil Davis had a 48-yard interception return to boost ALA.
GRANTSVILLE 21, TOOELE 0: Ky Fisher scored three times for Grantsville, all in the first half, as the Cowboys blanked rival Tooele to improve to 2-0.
MANTI 42, PROVO 17: Jared Schiess led Manti with 7.5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception and added two second-half scores in the home victory. The Templars totaled 400 yards rushing on 50 carries and QB Connor Aste completed 7 of 13 passes for 107 yards and a TD.
JUAB 48, BEN LOMOND 12: Quarterback Nick Robins led the Wasps with 194 yards and five touchdowns on 10 for 12 passing. Jeff Rowley totaled 52 yards and a touchdown on five rush attempts; Kayden Whiting rushed for 62 yards on five attempts; and Dalton Harmon had 43 yards and one rushing TD on four attempts in addition to two passing scores.
UNION 28, NORTH SANPETE 21: Union battled back, scoring twice in the fourth quarter to escape with the narrow victory over North Sanpete. Villiam Lutui hauled in the game-winning 10-yard touchown pass from Tye Winterton with 6.6 seconds remaining in the game.
SNOW CANYON 25, SHADOW RIDGE, NEV. 6: Snow Canyon represented the state well against Nevada foe Shadow Ridge, thanks in part to a 67-yard touchdown run by Zach Kennedy.
PINE VIEW 42, OREM 14: Pine View outscored Orem 26-7 at the break and picked up where it left off in the second half. Bladen Hosner caught a 26-yard pass from Kody Wilstead in the third quarter.
SALEM HILLS 21, PAYSON 12: Porter Gustin threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns, two of which were caught by his brother, Gunner, in the win for Salem Hills. Gunner Gustin had nine catches for 94 yards while Porter Gustin had 81 yards on 19 carries. Zack Zobell added 134 yards and one touchdown on five catches.
STANSBURY 34, HURRICANE 21: Jesse Horowitz carried the ball 16 times for 150 yards and a touchdown to lead Stansbury to a solid victory over Hurricane to even its preseason record at 1-1. Chase Christiansen added 129 rushing yards on 12 carries, while Spencer Wihongi tallied 19 tackles.
DESERT HILLS 20, FOOTHILL, NEV. 16: Desert Hills ground out a close victory vs Foothill (Henderson, Nev.), highlighted by an 84-yard interception return in the third quarter by Braden Reber. Bridger Cowdin lead the offense with 86 yards rushing and one TD, while the defense once again took the stage in holding Foothill's spread offense to 200 total yards and forcing four turnovers.
CEDAR 63, CANYON VIEW 2: Cedar staked a big lead early and held on to defeat Canyon View.
UINTAH 42, GREEN RIVER, WYO. 7: Braxton Coonis finished with 370 passing yards and 166 rushing yards along with four passing touchdowns and another rushing score to lead the Utes on the road. Dakota Havens led the defense with seven tackles and Dylan Hanks had six tackles and seven assists.
BEAR RIVER 31, PRESTON, IDAHO 8: The Bears used balanced scoring to roll past visiting Preston, Idaho, to maintain their perfect record.
JUAN DIEGO 24, SKYLINE 17: After squandering a 17-2 second-half lead, Juan Diego regrouped in double overtime as Cole Nelson iced the victory with a 5-yard touchdown run to lift the Soaring Eagle to a 2-0 record. Braxton Chipman and Chris Williams scored back-to-back touchdowns in the second half to help send the game to overtime.
GRAND 48, EMERY 21: Grand County quarterback Jacob Francis rushed for three touchdowns and threw for two more as the Red Devils rolled to a big win over Emery. Grand County racked up more than 300 yards of total offense in the first half. Marco Mota scored two TDs for the Spartans.
SHELLEY, IDAHO 28, WEST JORDAN 6: West Jordan jumped out to an early 6-0 lead on a 70-yard touchdown reception by Chandler Frischknecht, but that was the Jaguars' only lead of the game as Shelley, Idaho pulled away for the victory at Idaho State University.
ALTA 35, LONE PEAK 17: Alta scored 32 straight points after trailing Lone Peak by three points. Mack Richards had 14 catches and 256 yards. Tanner Sansom had one rushing and one receiving touchdown and netted 139 total yards.
TAYLORSVILLE 33, MURRAY 0: Alex Lehauli led the Warriors with 91 yards on 5 for 11 passing and 146 yards and two TDs rushing. Isaiah Peete blasted a 98-yard touchdown run and totaled 178 rushing yards. Matthew Sterzer led the defensive effort with nine tackles as Taylorsville improved to 2-0 on the season.
GRANGER 25, KEARNS 22: Kylon Pierre scored two rushing touchdowns, one of them from 57 yards out, en route to the overtime victory.
CYPRUS 36, HILLCREST 28: The Pirates came alive in the second half, scoring two touchdowns late in the forth quarter to take home the win over the Huskies. Cyprus QB Dennis Kamakana rushed for 169 yards on 21 carries, and Elijah Reynolds came up with a big special teams play blocking a field goal in the second half.
BRIGHTON 38, FREMONT 0: The Bengals' Sione Heimuli broke off a 56-yard run in the fourth quarter to extend the lead, and Hunter Dall converted on a 35-yard field goal to finish off the game.
BINGHAM 37, HERRIMAN 24: Kyle Gearig passed for two touchdowns, and Jared Tupou scored on a touchdown late in the game as Bingham held off upset-minded Herriman to improve to 2-0. Herriman's Brandon Jensen scored on a 1-yard TD in the fourth quarter to cut Bingham's lead to 30-24 before Tupou iced it late.
SPRINGVILLE 21, CORNER CANYON 18: Springville was able to get the ball in the end zone to earn the tough road victory over Corner Canyon. Dylan Slavens completed 11 of his 17 passes for 192 yards and three TDs, while Rhett Clark finished with three receptions for 37 yards and two TDs to pave the way for the Red Devils.
OLYMPUS 21, NORTHRIDGE 17: Conner Haller hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from Chase Manning with a 1:43 left in the game to complete the second-half comeback for Olympus. Northridge turned the ball over five times in the loss.
WESTLAKE 42, OGDEN 7: Gavin Williams scored on rushing TDs of 5 and 2 yards in the first quarter, and Tyler Aldstadt extended the lead to 28-0 on a 28-yard interception return as Westlake rolled over Ogden to improve to 2-0.
BOX ELDER 28, LAYTON 7: Box Elder's Riley Burt rushed for 115 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns in the Bees' win over Layton.
CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC, CALIF. 38, JORDAN 6: Jordan got roughed up against a motivated Cathedral Catholic, Calif., falling behind early thanks to several turnovers and the 'Diggers never recovered. Clay Moss scored Jordan's only touchdown in the second quarter.
BOUNTIFUL 42, VIEWMONT 0: Bountiful steamrolled rival Viewmont, racing to a 35-0 halftime lead on its way to an easy victory. Coming off last week's lost to Lone Peak, the Braves jumped out quick, with Tanner Redding, Max Latu and Houston Heimuli all scoring TDs in the first quarter. Redding tacked on two more receiving scores in the second quarter.
DAVIS 38, HUNTER 7: Mason White rushed for 111 yards and a 44-yard touchdown on 18 carries while quarterback Colton Chronister finished 16 of 22 with 175 yards and a 63-yard TD pass to Abel Porter to lead the Darts in the lopsided-sided victory.
SYRACUSE 17, HIGHLAND 14: Romney Harker booted a 33-yard field goal in double overtime as Syracuse rallied past upset-minded Highland in a defensive battle at Syracuse. Chase Bauerle scored a touchdown late in regulation to send the game into overtime, while both teams scored TDs in the first overtime to extend the game.
ROY 17, WEBER 14: In a back-and-forth game, Roy's Ben Aikuli drilled a 33-yard field goal as time expired to clinch the victory. Roy outscored the Warriors 11-0 in the fourth quarter to steal the victory.
WEST 26, COPPER HILLS 6: Alex Cody booted four field goals as the Panthers evened their record at 1-1. Isi Pupui added an interception return for the Panthers in a solid defensive performance.
AMERICAN FORK 35, MOUNTAIN CREST 14: Zach Katoa scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns as American Fork jumped out to an early 21-0 lead over Mountain Crest on its way to its first victory of the season. Jonah Trinnaman added a 59-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
PLEASANT GROVE 21, TIMPVIEW 19: After giving up an early touchdown, the Vikings rallied with three consecutive scores to get the come-from-behind victory. Jeremiah Evans led the effort with two passing scores, including an 81-yard pass to Spencer Romney.
CLEARFIELD 12, BONNEVILLE 7: Kelly Thorpe kicked a pair of second-half field goals, and Blake Wilcox added a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter as Clearfield eked out a victory over Bonneville.
TIMPANOGOS 34, SPANISH FORK 16: Jackson Dunford threw five touchdown passes to five different receivers as Timpanogos rolled past Spanish Fork after building a 20-0 first-half lead.
WASATCH 28, MOUNTAIN VIEW 3: Zack Reiss completed touchdown passes to both Kayden Connor (35 yards) and Carson Law (3 yards) while Hunter Pella and Zach Purdy also found the end zone to lead the Wasps over Mountain View.
SKY VIEW 44, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 13: The Bobcats scored early and often, led by four passing touchdowns from quarterback Braxton Godderidge, to grab the easy home win. Godderidge hit Logan Miller on two separate scores, including a 29-yard score and a 12-yard score.
DUCHESNE 21, NORTH SUMMIT 7: Matt Muir set the tone with an early touchdown, and Duchesne played outstanding defense the rest of the way as the Eagles tied a state record with their 36th straight victory. Matt Dye and Braxton Spencer also scored for the Eagles.
DIXIE 51, LEHI 22: Ammon Takau led the Flyers, who scored in all four quarters, with five passing touchdowns and another 16-yard rushing score in the home win.
RIVERTON 33, MADISON, IDAHO 3: Four Riverton players scored rushing touchdowns including a 20-yard scamper by Dallin Munger to lead the Silverwolves past visiting Madison, Idaho.
LAYTON CHRISTIAN 24, MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN, NEV. 20: After Layton Christian fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the Eagles came storming back as Marquis Gibson, Jack Chandler and Grayson Jackson all scored touchdowns to spearhead the victory in Las Vegas.
DELTA 7, MILLARD 0: Kale Leavitt found the end zone from 4 yards out to produce on the only score of the game, giving the Rabbits the road victory and their first win of the season.
WOODS CROSS 41, JUDGE MEMORIAL 14: Woods Cross led 21-7 lead at the half, then held on for the win. The Bulldogs' Mark Barnett ran back a 90-yard kick return. Michael Kearns also had a 16-yard run for the second score of the game.
ENTERPRISE 43, LINCOLN COUNTY, NEV. 12: Enterprise raced out to an early halftime lead against visiting Lincoln County, Nev., as it improved to 2-0. Dustin Tullis scored a touchdown and recovered a fumble in the end zone for another, while Kelton Hunt totaled 115 yards on a pair of rushing TDs of his own.
LYMAN, WYO. 40, ALTAMONT 20: Dylan Lindsay passed for a touchdown and rushed for another, but it wasn't enough as Lyman, Wyo., pulled away in the second half. Remington Funk added a rushing TD for the Longhorns, while Brady Farnsworth hauled in a 23-yard TD reception from Lindsay.
MILFORD 50, WHITE PINE, NEV. 16: Milford hit the road and rolled to the victory over White Pine, Nev.
