WINNERS BRACKET

DESERT HILLS 2, CARBON 0: Baden Powell mowed down Carbon hitters all game as the junior picked up the shutout victory to lead Desert Hills to the win in the 3A winners bracket game.

SNOW CANYON 5, CANYON VIEW 0: Snow Canyon shut out Canyon View with a strong performance to roll past Canyon View in the 3A winners bracket game at UVU.

ONE-LOSS BRACKET

PARK CITY 3, WASATCH 2: Park City eked out the 3A one-loss bracket victory over region foe Wasatch to keep its playoff stay alive.

SPANISH FORK 4, JUAN DIEGO 0: Spanish Fork blanked Juan Diego in a 3A playoff elimination game.

DIXIE 11, MORGAN 5: Errors proved costly lately for Morgan down the stretch as Dixie rallied for the victory in the 3A one-loss bracket. Morgan led 5-3 after four and a half innings, but the Flyers scored three in the fifth and five in the sixth.

PAYSON 8, BEAR RIVER 6: Payson topped Bear River in the first of its two 3A elimination games on Thursday.

SPANISH FORK 2, PARK CITY 1: Spanish Fork got a solid pitching outing to slow down Park City as it won its second 3A playoff elimination game of the day.

DIXIE 3, PAYSON 1: Dixie won its second elimination game of the day to advance through the 3A one-loss bracket on Thursday.

Softball

WINNERS BRACKET

SNOW CANYON 10, PAYSON 0: Brytni Gurney only allowed four hits over five innings as she pitched the Warriors to an easy 3A winners bracket victory. Snow Canyon remained a perfect 22-0 on the season with the win.

STANSBURY 9, UINTAH 0: Kimbri Herring struck out 15 batters as Stansbury dominated Uintah for the victory in 3A winners bracket.

CANYON VIEW 8, SPANISH FORK 6: Canyon View scored seven runs in the top of the seventh inning for a stunning rally past Spanish Fork in the 3A winners bracket. Josie Platt earned the win in the circle while Cheyenne Pratt hit a home run in the loss.

TOOELE 6, JUAN DIEGO 3: Tooele earned the victory in the 3A one-loss bracket to eliminate Juan Diego.

SPANISH FORK 6, JUAB 5: After blowing a big lead in the seventh inning, Spanish Fork regrouped to advance in the 3A one-loss bracket. Kaitlyn Bean earned the win in the circle.

UINTAH 10, GRANTSVILLE 9: Uintah's Tanika Merkley led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a walk-off home to lead Uintah to a satisfying win over Grantsville as it remained alive in the 3A one-loss bracket.

PINE VIEW 5, PAYSON 0: Pine View blanked Payson to keep its playoff hopes alive with a strong victory over Payson.

WINNERS BRACKE

SALEM HILLS 3, MURRAY 0: Kirtlyn Bohling shut out Murray in another solid pitching performance as Salem Hills advanced past Murray in the 4A winners bracket.

BOX ELDER 4, OLYMPUS 0: Top-ranked Box Elder jumped out to an early lead on underdog Olympus and never looked back as Bailey Reeves only allowed two hits in the victory. Myranda Hernandez went 2 for 3 in the victory, while Kelsey Rodriguez drove in a pair of runs.

MOUNTAIN CREST 6, BOUNTIFUL 5: Kenzie Rasmussen smacked a double and a home run to help Mountain Crest edge the Braves in the 4A winners bracket. Jordan Smith picked up the win in the circle.

PROVO 8, HERRIMAN 5: Taylor Allman earned credit for the win in the circle while teammate Eleanor Talia hit a triple and home run to help Provo edge the Mustangs in the 4A winners bracket.

ONE-LOSS BRACKET

ROY 11, EAST 3: Kylee Blaugh, Brittnee Higgs and Abby Kennedy all doubled as Roy rolled on the road past East in a 4A eliminated game. Jordynn Barrera went 3 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs in a strong performance at the plate for the Royals.

SPRINGVILLE 4, CLEARFIELD 3: Springville hit the road and kept its season alive with an impressive 4A elimination game victory over Clearfield. Amberley Austin hit a home run in the win, and Ashli Averett contributed a triple.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 11, WESTLAKE 0: Maple Mountain pounded Westlake for the easy victory in the 4A one-loss bracket.

BONNEVILLE 10, WOODS CROSS 3: The Lakers defeated Woods Cross to move on to the second week of the 4A state tournament. Daphne Robinson hit a home run for the Wildcats, who were eliminated with the loss.

5A PLAYOFFS

WINNERS BRACKET

COPPER HILLS 5, DAVIS 1: McKenna Bull, as well as contributing a home run, picked up the win in the circle to help the Warriors advance in the winners bracket of the 5A playoffs.

RIVERTON 12, SYRACUSE 4: Morgan Varoz hammered two home runs and led the team with four RBIs, and Camree Wartman was 4-for-4 in the Silverwolves' win.

BINGHAM 10, FREMONT 0: Bingham pounded out 15 hits en route to the easy victory over Fremont in the 5A winners bracket. Lexi English and Alexa Corsey each had three hits with two RBIs to lead the Miners.

WEBER 5, ALTA 3: McKenna Bull, as well as contributing a home run, picked up the win in the circle to help the Warriors advance in the winners bracket of the 5A playoffs.

ONE-LOSS BRACKET

LEHI 12, KEARNS 1: Lehi had no problem taking care of Kearns with an easy victory in the 5A one-loss bracket. Sydney White picked up the win on the mound.

BRIGHTON 9, VIEWMONT 5: Brighton scored four runs in the top of the seventh to pull away from Viewmont for the victory in the 5A one-loss bracket. Brighton pounded out 14 hits in the victory as Kylie Everill and Kennedy Rassmusen each ripped home runs.

TAYLORSVILLE 19, WEST JORDAN 12: In a wild, high-scoring playoff game in the 5A one-loss bracket, Taylorsville overcome a 5-0 deficit in the first inning to route West Jordan. Five different players hit home runs in the win for the Warrirors, with Maddie Cushing leading the way with a double and home run.

HUNTER 4, LONE PEAK 2: Tess Matagi doubled twice to lead Hunter to the victory past Lone Peak in the 5A one-loss bracket. Matagi finished the game going 2 for 3, as did McKenzie Cedarstrom.
