UC Irvine sweeps BYU to win second consecutive national championship title. Connor Hughes, who finished with 11 kills on the night was named the player of the match. UC Irvine finished with 15 blocks in the match, eight of those coming at key times in the third set. Taylor Sanders shined for the Cougars with 20 kills, however BYU's blocking was off all night ultimately hurting the Cougars in the end.
