STANSBURY 11, MOUNTAIN CREST 1: Stansbury put on a show as it scored three runs in the first, third and fourth innings each. Seven of the Stallions' hits were for extra bases including Alex Mackay who hit a double and a triple. Trenton Griffin was great on the mound for Stansbury as he threw a one-hitter and only gave up one run.
MOUNTAIN CREST 10, STANSBURY 3: In the second leg of the doubleheader, Mountain Crest picked up the win thanks to a consistent offensive effort. The Mustangs scored four in the second inning and three in the fifth while they only gave up three total runs to the home squad.
WEST JORDAN 3, DIXIE 1: West Jordan started the game with a two-run first inning, and added one more run in the narrow win over Dixie.
LOGAN 5, BEAR RIVER 4: Chase Nelson slugged a homer for the Grizzlies.
PAYSON 7, WESTLAKE 5: Payson exploded in the bottom of the sixth inning to score four runs and earn the victory. Westlake dominated for much of the game and got off to a good start but eventually the Lions were too much. Hayden Knotts earned the win on the mound while T.J. Anderson sealed the deal with the save.
WEBER 5, LOGAN 3: Cooper Roylance slugged a double for the Warriors.
MISSION VIEJO, CALIF. 9, RIVERTON 5: The Silverwolves fell at the Lions National Invitational.
CAPO VALLEY, CALIF. 10, RIVERTON 7: The Silverwolves fell at the Lions National Invitational.
BINGHAM 5, CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC, CALIF. 4: Bingham scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings and then won it in the eighth as it wrapped up play at the USA Baseball National High School Invitational in Cary, N.C., with a victory.
TIMPANOGOS 2, MOUNTAIN VIEW 1: In a low scoring bout, Timpanogos came out on top after scoring the game winning run in the sixth inning. Tate Laing was the winning pitcher for the Timberwolves while Jaxon Beck helped offensively with a double.
BISHOP GORMAN, NEV. 7, HILLCREST 1: Hillcrest fell at the Las Vegas Tournament.
AMERICAN FORK 4, BRIGHTON 3: American Fork narrowly edged Brighton in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
PLEASANT GROVE 5, BOUNTIFUL 3: Easton Walker was solid for Pleasant Grove as he had a good game on the mound and added to his own cause with two hits. Bountiful's Tanner Redding had the only extra base hit of the game as he hit a double, in the loss.
BOUNTIFUL 11, OLYMPUS 3: Ryan Curtis scored three runs off his two triples while Zac Muir had three RBI to lead Bountiful to victory. Two other players had two RBIs apiece for the Braves.
DAVIS 11, WASATCH 5: Jackson Peacock notched a home run, and finished with five RBIs to lead Davis past Wasatch. Tyler Hall pitched a complete game, striking out 10 batters in the victory.
OREM 11, TIMPVIEW 0: Sam Wright pitched four shutout innings recording the win just allowing one walk and three hits. Nick Anderson, Nolan Gray and Ethen Chatterly all had two hits apiece in leading the Tigers to the win.
SAN JUAN 4, MONTICELLO 0: Logan Meyer led the Broncos with a triple.
MILLARD 14, SOUTH SEVIER 6: With the bases loaded, Jordan Day hit a base-clearing double to break the game open for Millard and give them the momentum. Erick Alcala was the winning pitcher for the Eagles and he helped his own cause as he hit a double.
JORDAN 9, BISHOP GORMAN, NEV. 4: Colton Shaver earned the win and hit a double for the Beetdiggers at the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic.
BREA-OLINDA, CALIF. 5, WOODS CROSS 1: The Wildcats fell at the Lions National Invitational.
SONORA, CALIF. 6, VIEWMONT 2: The Vikings lost at the Anaheim Lions Tournament.
BRIGHTON 10, AMERICAN FORK 3: Taylor Prokopis pitched a complete game for Brighton as he earned the victory. He was aided on the offensive side by Alex Miles and Logan McGregor who each hit triples for the Bengals.
WOODS CROSS 8, PALO VERDE, CALIF. 5: Three players crushed doubles for the Wildcats at the Lions National Invitational.
DIXIE 14, WEST JORDAN 3: Dixie overcame a three-run deficit, and responded with 11 runs in the final two innings to pick up the lopsided victory on the road.
