UTAH COUNTY, Utah — The final day of pool play at the Vivint Orem Tiger Baseball Classic wrapped up Thursday with Wasatch (2-1) defeating Timpanogos (1-2) 13-9 to clinch the top seed in Pool A. Host team Orem (1-2) had a chance to capture the top seed with a win over Payson (2-1) but dropped a heartbreaker 11-9. The win gave Payson the No. 2 seed in pool A, with Timanogos finishing third and Orem fourth.
Pool B ended up in a three-way tie with Davis, Westlake and Mt. View all tied with a 2-1 record. Davis ended up clinching the tiebreaker and the No. 1 spot. Westlake was second, followed by Mt. View in third and Timpview (0-3) in fourth.
The championship and consolations games are scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at Brent Brown Ballpark on the campus of Utah Valley University. The complete schedule is listed below.

Following the championship and consolations games on Saturday, Vivint will award $2,500 dollars in college scholarships to the tournament MVPs. A Vivint All-Tournament team will also be announced.
Tickets for Saturday’s games are available at the Brent Brown Ballpark ticket office on the day of the game. $10 - Individual ticket $25 - Family pass (four people); $3.00 for each extra child $5 - Senior citizens, students with ID and children
