Boys basketball


DIXIE 38, PINE VIEW 34: Dixie shut down Pine View 11-4 in the fourth quarter to take the victory at home. Kody Wilstead grabbed 13 rebounds for Pine View. Kyler Smith led with 15 points with six from beyond the arc.

SNOW CANYON 67, CEDAR 65: Snow Canyon took the two-point victory in overtime after leading throughout the game. Chandler Gines led with 26 points. Nate Gottfredson added 14.

CANYON VIEW 57, HURRICANE 52: Canyon View's Nate Jarvis scored a three pointer in the fourth quarter to jump-start their 24-13 run to take the victory. Chad Corry led with 21 points with 15 from the 3-point line.


MORGAN 96, GRANTSVILLE 53: Morgan stayed consistent scoring double figures throughout the game. Jake Miles led with 20 points with six assists. Hunter Stanford added 11 points.

BEN LOMOND 49, OGDEN 38: Ben Lomond's Josh Hardin led his team to an 11-point victory scoring a game-high 21 points. Sterling Brandley added 14 points.

BEAR RIVER 60, STANSBURY 35: The Bears opened the second half on a 20-6 run as Lane Bitner finished with 16 points.


CARBON 55, NORTH SANPETE 53: Carbon's Michael Peczuh hit two clutch free-throws with six seconds left on clock to take the win at home. Peczuh also finished the game with 14 points. Bryce Blackburn added 11 points and Derek Young also added 14 points.

PAYSON 80, JUAB 47: Payson went on a 22-9 run in the second quarter. Kaleb Wright scored a game-high 21 points. Daniel Reno added 17 points.


ENTERPRISE 58, MILLARD 52: Enterprise's strong second half and Justin Prisbrey's game-high 23 points propelled the Wolves over Millard in region play. Jeffrey Robison led the Eagles with 14 points in the loss.


WATERFORD 63, MAESER PREP 48: Mufi Hunt led the Ravens to a 15-point victory on the road. Alex Millet also added 16 points.

SOUTH SUMMIT 56, ROWLAND HALL 39: South Summit's Porter Lewis scored a game-high 18 points with six boards in the huge victory on the road. Beau Rydalch added 12 points with seven boards.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 69, NORTH SUMMIT 61: Summit Academy used a 21-11 run in the third quarter to get the road win over North Summit in region play. Rashaan Griffin and Ashton Richards combined for 45 points with six 3-pointers to fuel the Bears. Landon Richins scored 13 points and grabbed 17 boards in the loss.


EMERY 89, GRAND 63: On Senior night Grand's Dale Thomas scored a game-high 24 points with a career-high seven 3-pointers in the loss. Emery's Curtis Mason and Dillon Wilstead combined for 24 points.


NORTH SEVIER 47, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 39: North Sevier's Dakota Shepherd led with 18 points to give them the win on the road. American Leadership's McKay Bowman had 16 points with 15 rebounds and three steals.

GUNNISON 58, MANTI 55: Colby Caldwell led four Bulldogs in double figures as Gunnison held off Manti's comeback attempt.

WASATCH ACADEMY 62, MERIT ACADEMY 34: Wasatch Academy had three players score in double digits to get the blowout victory in region play. Koby McEwen led all scorers with 19 points, while Geno Luzcando chipped in 17 for the Tigers. Joel Martinez led the Knights with 18 points in the loss.


ST. JOSEPH 81, OAKLEY 47: St. Joseph closed out Oakley in the third quarter, outscoring them 20-8. Nick Gruet scored a game-high 15 points with nine from beyond the arc. David Donlevy added 11 points.

WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 58, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 46: Alec Metzger scored a team-high 17 points and Ethan Cope added 15 to power West Ridge Academy over Intermountain Christian. Mikey Boettger and Zach Paige scored 18 apiece in the loss.

LEGACY PREP 67, MOUNT VERNON 14: Legacy Prep shut down Mount Vernon 38-4 heading into halftime. Three Lions scored in double figures, including Kylan Gardiner scoring 20 points with six boards, five assists and seven steals. Kling Gardiner added 18 and Hunter Harmer added 18 points with eight boards.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 80, CONCORDIA PREP 6: Layton Christian soared to a blowout victory on the road against Concordia Prep.

Girls basketball


MILFORD 48, WAYNE 38: Milford shut out Wayne on a 13-6 run in the fourth quarter to take the victory. Kennedy Netto led with 14 points. Tia Florence added 13 points.

ESCALANTE 59, BRYCE VALLEY 57: Bryce Valley's Janette Pollock threw up a last second shot but rimmed out for the loss. Lindsey Phillips led the Moquis to a two-point victory, scoring 28 points. Audrey Lindsey added 11 points.

PIUTE 62, VALLEY 53: Whitney Westwood led four T-Birds in double figures with 19 points.
