REGION 9

PINE VIEW 55, CANYON VIEW 49: Pine View earned the close road victory as it outscored Canyon View by six in the third period in a game that was even in the other three periods. Chaz Petersen led the Panthers with 17 points while the Falcons' Chad Corry scored 16 points and drained four 3-pointers in the loss.

SNOW CANYON 57, DESERT HILLS 54: Chandler Gines led Snow Canyon to a narrow road victory as he scored 24 points and hit one 3-pointer. Nate Gottfredson added 18 points to the Warriors' cause.

CEDAR 77, HURRICANE 37: Ryan Armstrong and Dustin Staggs each recorded a double-double for Cedar Wednesday night. Armstrong finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Staggs grabbed 16 boards with his 15 points to lead the Redmen past visiting Hurricane.

REGION 11

OGDEN 50, GRANTSVILLE 39: Despite only scoring one point in the first quarter, Ogden easily defeated Grantsville on the road as it outscored the home team by a combined 22 points in the following three periods. Spencer Smith led the way for the Tigers as he scored a game-high 13 points while Dayton Wright added 12 more.

BEAR RIVER 90, TOOELE 54: Wade Miller knocked down five 3-pointers, and finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Bear River in the lopsided region win at home.

BEN LOMOND 44, STANSBURY 40: Josh Hardin finished with 18 points, and Ben Lomond used an 18-8 first-quarter advantage to creep past Stansbury for a region win. The Scots improved to .500 with with victory at home.

REGION 12

SPANISH FORK 57, NORTH SANPETE 52: Ty Henry led Spanish Fork with 17 points, as the visiting team managed to go 18-for-23 from the free-throw line to earn the region win. North Sanpete struggled at the charity stripe, shooting 12-for-22 on the night.

CARBON 59, JUAB 46: Led by Jordan Blanc and Derek Young who scored 21 and 19 points, respectively, Carbon picked up its first Region 12 victory. After a close first quarter that Juab won 14-13, Carbon came back an slowly but steadily increased its lead to pick up the big win.

PAYSON 53, DELTA 50: Kaleb Wright and Brycen Wood combined for 29 points as the Lions held on to a nine-point lead after the third quarter.

REGION 13

MILLARD 67, KANAB 51: Millard cruised past Kanab thanks to solid outings from Jesse Rhodes and Jeffery Robison, who scored 23 and 18 points. The Eagles finished the game 22-for-28 from the charity stripe.

ENTERPRISE 51, BEAVER 39: Justin Prisbrey scored 26 points while teammate Dayce Truman added 14 to help Enterprise capture the the Region 13 victory. The Wolves slowly but surely expanded their lead throughout the game as they finished with the double-digit win.

REGION 14

SOUTH SUMMIT 79, MAESER PREP 38: South Summit dominated right from the get-go as it outscored Maeser Prep 23-5 in the first period. The Wildcats were led by Garrett Crystal who scored 18 points and drained two treys.

NORTH SUMMIT 56, ROWLAND HALL 52: Cameron Smith and Ben Stephens combined for 27 North Summit points, as the visiting team survived the Rowland Hall momentum heading into the extra period.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 79, WATERFORD 56: Summit Academy's Rashaan Griffin led all scorers with 33 points including five 3-pointers as his team easily defeated visiting Waterford. Summit Academy was hot from behind the arc as it made 12 treys as a team.

REGION 16

MERIT ACADEMY 44, NORTH SEVIER 42: Austreberto Tona drained a 3-pointer with five seconds remaining to give the Knights a victory over the Wolves. Tona had 16 points, while North Sevier's Dakota Shepherd scored a game-high 24. Both teams had technical fouls in what was an intense game.

GUNNISON 63, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 43: Colby Caldwell managed to lead all scorers with 26 points, and Gunnison finished the game on a 27-11 run to easily slip past ALA at home.

WASATCH ACADEMY 59, MANTI 43: Garrett Crosby led all scorers with 17 points, while Cody John contributed 16 points to help Wasatch to the region victory at home.

REGION 17

ST. JOSEPH 63, CONCORDIA PREP 18: Sebastian Pomeroy scored 15 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds to lead St. Joseph to the lopsided win on the road.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 79, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 61: Preston Sill led four LCA scorers in double figures with 16 points, as the visiting team had a big third quarter to pick up the region victory.

LEGACY PREP 53, OAKLEY 16: Hunter Harmer dropped in a game high 20 points, while Jacob Higginson added a 10 point 13 rebound double-double to lead Legacy Prep past Oakley in region play.

INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 61, MOUNT VERNON 32: Mikey Boettger and Zach Paige combined for 32 points, as ICS managed to earn its first win of the season with the road victory.

REGION 20

PANGUITCH 52, PIUTE 44: Dalan Bennett grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, while Tyce Barney added 23 points to lead visiting Panguitch past Piute in region play.

VALLEY 76, MILFORD 52: Valley cruised past Milford on the road thanks to a huge first half where Valley outscored the home team 38-17. The Buffaloes had five players reach double-digits compared to Milford's two players.

BRYCE VALLEY 71, WAYNE 56: After a 21-7 quarter in favor of Bryce Valley, Wayne cut the deficit to one point in the third quarter but Bryce Valley closed strong and put the game away. The Mustangs were hot from behind the arc as they hit nine 3-pointers as a team led by Braxton Syrett who hit five treys to scored 21 points. Teammate Hunter Mecham scored a game-high 23 points including 5 3-pointers.

NONREGION

PINNACLE 85, ROCKWELL 68: Javanni Alyzayyat posted 27 points for the Panthers.
