The Utah Jazz led the Lakers by 15 points with five minutes remaining in the game. They slowly watched that comfortable lead dwindle down to five points in the final minute, but were able to hold on and beat L.A., 117-110.
Six Jazz players scored in double figures, led by Paul Millsap and Mo Williams who finished with 24 and 22 points respectively.
Lakers' guard Kobe Bryant found his game in the second half, finishing with 34 points. Jordan Hill nearly had a double-double for Los Angeles, finishing with 17 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
L.A.'s three point shooting kept them in the game by netting 15 out of 28 three-point shot attempts, shooting 53.6 percent from beyond the line.
The Jazz shot 54.2 percent from the field and 33 percent from the three-point line.
