JUDGE MEMORIAL 60, HILLCREST 53: Joe Cremer scored a game-high 20 points, including six 3-pointers, and Judge managed to hold off Hillcrest late in the game to pick up the road victory.

COTTONWOOD 68, RIVERTON 60: Brendan Guzman drained four shots from behind the arc en route to 20 points as he led Cottonwood to the upset victory over Riverton. Austin Simmons added 15 points to the Colts' cause while Stephan Holm led the Silverwolves with a game-high 27 points in the loss.

HIGHLAND 63, FREMONT 32: After a closely contested first quarter, Highland limited Fremont to 22 points the remaining three quarters for the easy win. David Divver guided the charge for the Rams offensively, scoring 19 points. Henry Morris and Jake Connor teamed up for 22 points in the win.

EAST 69, MURRAY 61: Parker Van Dyke went off to the tune of 30 points, and East dominated with a 12-4 overtime run that left Murray in the dust. Chase Topham led the Murray rally with 17 points in the loss.

WOODS CROSS 56, ROY 55: Woods Cross' Hayden Grant hit two sets of 1-and-1 opportunities to tie the game, then following a made bucket by Roy, connected on a jumper from the key with 49 second to even the score once again. In a tie ballgame, with one second remaining, Mike Jacobson drilled the front end of a double-bonus situation before intentionally missing the second attempt as time expired to secure the win.

NORTHRIDGE 65, JORDAN 63: Dallas Bond, Preston Christensen and Jacob Bigler all scored in double digits for Northridge as the Knights held off the Beetdiggers for the big win. Four players reached double figures in the first loss of the year for Jordan.

SPANISH FORK 72, BEAR RIVER 66: Ty Henry led Spanish Fork to victory with 26 points, including six baskets from downtown. Rhees Benson chipped in 13 points for the Dons.

PINE VIEW 68, CHINLE, ARIZ. 64: Dallin Milne loaded up for 28 points, nine of which came from distance, and Chaz Petersen and Kody Wilstead scored 13 apiece to lead Pine View. The Panthers erased an early 10-point deficit in the first quarter and chipped away at the free-throw line, knocking down 16-of-22 attempts.

BRIGHTON 59, SKYLINE 26: Brighton held Skyline under double digits all four quarters, including three points in the second, for the runaway win. Braxton Miller had a game-high 20 points and eight other Bengals pitched in offensively.

ALTA 49, SNOW CANYON 39: Landon Albrecht and Trevor Hill each finished with 14 points, and Alta finally picked up the first win of the season after the 0-3 start.

LAYTON 74, GRANGER 20: Layton cruised to a victory over Granger behind Mike Hibbert who had a game-high 13 points. The Lancers started hot thanks to stingy defense and were able to continue with their success with a very balanced scoring attack.

SIERRA VISTA, NEV. 64, CANYON VIEW 58: In the final minutes, Canyon View was able to cut Sierra Vista's 12-point lead to six points but it was too little, too late. The Falcons were led by Brady Barrett who scored a game-high 15 points in the loss.

DAVIS 60, BINGHAM 56: Despite inconsistent free throw shooting in the final couple minutes, the Darts hung on for a hard-fought road victory over a gritty Bingham team to improve to 5-0 this preseason. Abel Porter and Jesse Wade each connected on four 3-pointers, finished with 19 and 15 points respectively. Braden Koelliker added 13 points and came up with a key steal and block in the final 15 seconds.

COPPER HILLS 48, KEARNS 40: Trailing entering the final quarter, Copper Hills exploded for a 22-point fourth to top Kearns at home. Porter Hawkins, Darius Maluia and Danny Martinez all reached double figures scoring for the Grizzlies.

WENDOVER 43, WHITEHORSE 37: Tintic held Escalante to just 21 percent shooting and enjoyed a 42-21 rebounding advantage in an easy victory at the Sevier Valley Center. McKade Holman led the Miners with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Travis Green added a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

TINTIC 53, ESCALANTE 31: Valley jumped all over Green River in the first quarter opening up a 16-4 lead en route to the lopsided victory at the Sevier Valley Center. Clint Sorensen led all scorers with 16 points, while Valley teammate Riley Esplin added 13 points.

ALTAMONT 67, MILFORD 43: Altamont jumped out to a significant lead in the first half to put the game on cruise-control from that point forward. Dylan Lindsay dropped 22 points while Khristian Cayias and Waylon Jessen combined for 28 more.

VALLEY 62, GREEN RIVER 39: Valley jumped all over Green River in the first quarter opening up a 16-4 lead en route to the lopsided victory at the Sevier Valley Center. Clint Sorensen led all scorers with 16 points, while Valley teammate Riley Esplin added 13 points.

MONTICELLO 60, RICH 53: Monticello picked up the tightly contested win behind Gunnar Hollingsworth and Austin Maloy, who scored 22 and 17 points, respectively. The Rebels connected on 20-of-26 from the charity stripe but were limited to 11 first half points.

PANGUITCH 46, MANILA 22: Panguitch rallied behind big scoring outings in the second and fourth quarters to cruise past Manila. Tyce Barney had 19 points for Bobcats.

DUCHESNE 68, PIUTE 48: Kaden Moon led the Duchesne attack with 19 points, as the home team defended it's court in the lopsided victory.

TABIONA 58, WAYNE 47: Demont Nay scored 16 points, Jarret Lefler added 14 and Tyler VanTassell chipped in with 12 points and 10 rebounds as Tabiona outscored Wayne 24-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win at the Sevier Valley Center.

GRANTSVILLE 59, NORTH SANPETE 50: Devin Adams had a solid effort for Grantsville, scoring 21 points to help his team defeat North Sanpete. Skyler Cloward added 11 points to the Cowboys.

PROVO 78, AMERICAN FORK 74: In an intense, early season game between a pair of undefeated teams, Provo pulled away in the second overtime behind 20 points from Jordan Maw to improve to 3-0. Maw was one of four Provo players to score in double figures, with Adam Finch and Wesley Bosco each chipping in with 17 points. Kyle Line led the way for American Fork in the loss with 18 points.

UNION 61, TOOELE 57: George Kaufusi and Jona Wood each scored 11 points, and Carver Simkins finished with 13 points to lead Union to a narrow victory at home.

TIMPVIEW 58, WASATCH 42: Timpview converted on 13-of-17 attempts at the free-throw line and behind a 20-point third quarter, galloped past Wasatch on its home court. Taylor Roy had a game-high 15 points while the T-Birds hit five shots from beyond the arc.

BOUNTIFUL 68, SOUTH SEVIER 45: Bountiful picked up its second victory of the season with a surprisingly easy victory over 2A's top-ranked team.

CYPRUS 68, OGDEN 58: Cyprus jumped out to an early nine-point lead in the first quarter and rode the momentum throughout the remainder of the contest for its second win of the year. Marcus Quiq commanded the Pirates' ship with 21 points and five 3-pointers. Spencer Smith tallied 23 points in the loss.

ST. JOSEPH 69, DUGWAY 44: Nick Gruet scored 21 points including four 3-pointers to lead St. Joseph to an easy victory over Dugway. David Dunlevy had a solid all-around game as he added 10 assist and six rebounds to his 12 points for the double-double.

PLEASANT GROVE 74, PAYSON 60: Forrest Pincock led the way for Pleasant Grove with 19 points including four 3-pointers, as it defeated Payson. Matt Conway and Riley Court each added 12 points to the Vikings' cause as they each hit one shot from behind the arc.

WEST JORDAN 52, BASHA, ARIZ. 40: After a close first half, solid second half defense allowed West Jordan to come up with a victory as it held Basha, Ariz. to 12 total second half points. Brayden Bennett led the Jaguars with 13 points while Spencer Nisson and Brandon Morris added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

BRYCE VALLEY 52, MILLARD 46: Braxton Syrett was nearly unstoppable as he scored 28 points to help the Mustangs dash past Millard. Logan LeFevre scored 12 points to help Bryce Valley.

DESERT HILLS 66, LOGAN 53: The Thunder were led by Taylor Houston's team-high 18 points along with Chase Thompson and Quincy Matthews who teamed up for 26 points. Jordan Larsen had 24 points in the defeat.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 50, WESTLAKE 43: In a well-fought game, Maple Mountain was able to capture the victory behind Josh Phelps and Nate Guymon, who scored 18 and 16 points including eight 3-pointers, respectively. The Golden Eagles allowed breathing room for a four point second quarter behind a strong burst in the first.

OLYMPUS 63, BOX ELDER 56: Jake Lindsey led the Olympus attack with 19 points, while teammate Jaren Jones added 18 points to help Olympus escape with the road victory. Shad Watson and Tyler Bate combined for 34 points in the loss.

TIMPANOGOS 61, MOUNTAIN CREST 51: Led by Trevor Schade, who hit four 3-pointers on his way to 19 points, Timpanogos emerged victorious in a tough game against Mountain Crest. Zach Facemyer and Jaxon Beck combined for 25 points for the Timberwolves.

OREM 82, FOOTHILL, NEV. 57: Orem, behind a 30-point second quarter, convincingly put away Foothill, Nev. in the Great Western Shootout. Dalton Nixon bucketed 28 points, with two treys, and Cooper Holt, Jordan Darger and Zach Hunsaker combined for 41 points for the Tigers.

LONE PEAK 73, DENVER EAST, COLO. 54: Nick Emery finished with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and T.J. Haws added 17 points as Lone Peak easily took care of business against Denver East, Colo. at the Great Western Shootout for the second straight year.

BEAVER 58, GRAND 48: Beaver remained unscathed on the young season behind its performance at the charity stripe. The Beavers buried 13 freebies comparative to Grand's two made free-throws. Michael Roberts, Braxton Williams and Hunter Hansen accounted for 49 of Beaver's 58 points.

LEHI 67, HERRIMAN 56: The Pioneers only missed two of their 23 attempts at the charity stripe as Jordan Peck posted 27 points.

PARK CITY 41, SOUTH SUMMIT 39: Nodded at 38 apiece, Park City's Ryan Sherman locked and loaded from deep and sunk what ultimately proved to be the winning bucket with 45 seconds remaining in regulation. Sam Kingdom led the Miners with 16 points, nine stemming from beyond the arc. Beau Rydalch had a game-high 18 points in the loss.

MAESER PREP 50, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 43: Griffin Garner put up a game-high 18 points, as Maeser Prep managed to rally and earn the win at home.

DESERT OASIS, NEV. 79, ENTERPRISE 77: Justin Prisbey and Dayce Truman combined for 58 points and five 3-pointers for the Wolves in a loss at the Virgin Valley Tournament.

MORGAN 54, DELTA 50: In a foul-ridden game, Morgan capitalized on 23 free throws to squeak past Delta on the road. Jake Miles had 19 points and nine other players contributed offensively for the Trojans.

SYRACUSE 67, SKYLINE, IDAHO 56: Daniel Pehrson finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead Syracuse to the victory at home. Diante Mitchell finished with a game-high 22 points, including five rebounds for the Titans.

JUAN DIEGO 46, HUNTER 41: Juan Diego held the Wolverines to seven fourth quarter points and behind Gabe Colosimo's and Nick Markosian's combined 30 points, earned the win on the road. Trevon Johnson tallied a game-high 19 points for Hunter.

MADISON, IDAHO 49, CLEARFIELD 36: Madison, Idaho hit five 3-pointers and had seven players find the score book in the win against Clearfield. Marquis Jones had 14 points in the loss for the Falcons.

RICHFIELD 64, ROWLAND HALL 43: After a slow start offensively, Richfield scored 45 points in the second and third quarters to fly past Rowland Hall. Jaylon Steck, Brenan Thomas and Burton Griffin all reached double figures and seven other Wildcats found the score sheet. Wesley Austin chipped in 21 points in the loss.

GUNNISON 65, WATERFORD 43: Gunnison coasted to victory on the back of Colby Caldwell who scored 25 points and sank five 3-pointers. Braden Harris added 19 points to the Bulldogs' cause.

MERIT ACADEMY 74, ROCKWELL 45: Rodolfo Peralta led the Knights with 10 points in a blowout.

WASATCH ACADEMY 91, NORTH SUMMIT 50: Wasatch Academy had five players scored in double figures, led by Koby McEwen who scored 21 points and made four shots from behind the arc.

SPRINGVILLE 57, DIXIE 39: Bradley Kitchen torched the nets for 18 points, while Max Schriener added 16 points to lead Springville past Dixie in the Ken Robinson Classic.

Girls basketball

KANAB 46, GUNNISON 34: Whitney Houston led all scorers with 17 points, while Shaylee McDonald finished with 14 points to lead Kanab past Gunnison at the Cowboy Classic.

WEST JORDAN 42, LEHI 27: Kim Evans had a game-high 10 points to help the Jaguars defeat the Pioneers. Haley Carle and Lejla Hadzialijagic each contributed nine points to West Jordan.

MORGAN 58, SALEM HILLS 45: McKenzie Schenk made seven free throws in the fourth quarter, where the Trojans enjoyed a 16-6 run to pull away for the win.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 52, BEN LOMOND 39: Layton Christian allowed 12 points in the first and third quarters to take control of the game. Alissa Atisme and Teneshia Davison scored 16 and 13 points in the win, respectively.

RICHFIELD 45, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 32: Megan Bean paced Richfield with her 22 points for the victory at the Juan Diego Christmas Classic.

WEBER 49, TAYLORSVILLE 37: Erin Reichle had an outstanding game for Weber, hitting five 3-pointers on her way to 23 points. Kandice Jensen added 17 points including three 3-pointers in the Warriors' win.

WESTLAKE 54, HUNTER 36: Westlake answered the call defensively, holding Hunter to 16 points in the opening two quarters. Ashley Calder dropped 19 points, while Jessica Pontius added 16 more in the win.

ROY 68, WOODS CROSS 27: Behind Kaitlyn Hurley, who scored 18 points including two 3-pointers, Roy was able to easily capture the road victory over Woods Cross. Jaden Whaley and Jordynn Barrera added 10 points apiece to the Royals' cause.

SKY VIEW 64, BOUNTIFUL 42: Tara Goldman led all scorers with 19 points, and Sky View used a 19-point lead at the half to cruise past Bountiful and improve to 5-0.

CYPRUS 46, OLYMPUS 39: Cyprus' two-pronged attack of Ashlee Foster and Marquessa Gilson was too much Olympus as the two combined for 27 points and five 3-pointers. Rachel VanderToolen led the Titans with 12 points.

BONNEVILLE 81, NORTHRIDGE 40: Bonneville outscored Northridge 53-10 collectively at the start of each half to remain undefeated on the year. Kayla Eilertson bucketed 20 points while Emilie Volk, Lexie Stratford and Cortney Porter all chipped in double digit scoring totals.

BRYCE VALLEY 39, SOUTH SEVIER 22: Brittney Frost and Taylor Talbot each scored 12 points, and Bryce Valley dominated with the 11-2 fourth quarter finish for the win at the Kanab Cowboy Classic.

WATERFORD 33, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 32: Despite not a single made free-throw, Waterford held off Intermountain Christian for a one-point victory. Katie Haines and Melissa Biscupovich combined for 23 points and seven treys for the Ravens.

WENDOVER 59, ROWLAND HALL 53: Wendover clamped down defensively in the overtime period, holding Rowland Hall to two points, to pick up the thrilling win. Nancy DeSantiago scored 23 points and Stephanie Badillo added 14 points with two 3-pointers for the Wildcats.

MOAPA VALLEY, NEV. 49, PINE VIEW 43: Melissa Judd posted 10 points and nine rebounds in the loss for the Panthers.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 44, WASATCH 40: Mountain View outscored Wasatch 16-6 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the road victory despite a 19-point night from the Wasps' Rebecca MaWhinney.

NORTH SANPETE 41, UNION 48: Union held off North Sanpete for the victory at the Juan Diego Christmas Classic.

SNOW CANYON 58, LONE PEAK 49: Amy Harris, Grace Walton, Megan Leavitt and Madie Gubler accounted for 48 of Snow Canyon's 58-point total over Lone Peak.

MILFORD 64, PIUTE 58: Milford starved off a late fourth-quarter run by Piute and ultimately clung to victory on the road. The Tigers enjoyed a big night from Kennedy Netto, Chandler Rose and Shyla Sherwood; the three teamed up for 49 points.

MILLARD 56, SAN JUAN 45: Kaela Brunson, Denise Crabb and Meagan Dearden made two 3-pointers apiece to help Millard to a victory over San Juan. The trio combined for 38 points for the Eagles.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 59, PAYSON 39: In addition to an outstanding 31 points, Aleksa Gappmayer grabbed 11 boards for the Golden Eagles. To top off her dominant performance, she added five steals and four blocks as Maple Mountain handily defeated Payson.

DIXIE 53, JUAB 14: Dixie stoned Juab defensively, holding the Wasps to only 14 points three in the first half alone.

TABIONA 77, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 3: Jentri Barneck had an outstanding game, scoring 29 points, as Tabiona routed West Ridge. Charlee Strebel and MacKenzie Wagner each scored 14 points for the Tigers.

DESERT HILLS 62, SPANISH FORK 41: Blair Bliss and Haley Bodnar each finished with 16 points to help Desert Hills cruise past Spanish Fork on the road.

FREMONT 58, BEAR RIVER 31: Shelby Molen and Tanesha Daniels combined for 26 points, and Fremont dominated from start to finish to pick up the victory at the Burchell Classic at Bonneville High School.

GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. 35, CARBON 21: Despite playing good defense all game, Carbon was unable to get it done offensively as it was defeated by Grand Junction, Colo. Shelby Cornforth led Carbon with 10 points while Sydney Brandon scored a game-high 11 points for Grand Junction.
