BOISE— The University of Utah women's soccer team (5-1-2) wrapped up non-conference play with a 1-1 draw at Boise State (4-5-1) on Sunday, extending its unbeaten streak to seven games. Sophomore forward Ashton Hall (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) tallied her first career goal for the Utes.
Utah drew first blood in the 23rd minute as Hall won a loose ball in traffic and buried it from eight yards out, but Rebe Wolverton tied the game at 1-1 in the 53rd minute.
WYOMING 4, UVU 3: At Laramie, Wyo., The Utah Valley University women's soccer team scored three goals in the first half, but ultimately fell in overtime to Wyoming, 4-3, Sunday afternoon.
Regan Benson scored on a penalty kick, and followed it up with another goal on an assist from Shalayne Janis. Natalie Baker scored after a nice pass from Megan Millerberg.
UC SANTA BARBARA 2, WEBER STATE 1: At Sacramento, Calif., The Weber State University women's soccer team dropped its final non-conference match on Sunday afternoon, suffering a 2-1 setback to UC Santa Barbara at the Mather Sports Center.
Freshman forward Mackenzie Harrison had the Wildcats' goal as reshman midfielder Chansi Crompton had the assist.
WESTMINSTER 1, HOPE INTERNATIONAL 0: At Salt Lake City The 21st-ranked Westminster College women's soccer team continued its hot start to the season with a 1-0 win over Hope International on Sunday afternoon at Dumke Field.
Justine Jones had the assist on a Margo Hickman goal got her foot on it and directed it into the goal.
WESTMINSTER 4, ARIZONA CHRISTIAN 1: At Salt Lake City The Westminster College men's soccer team took advantage of a big offensive showing to take a 4-1 win over Arizona Christian on Sunday afternoon at Dumke Field.
Westminster improves to 5-2-1 overall this season and 5-1 at home with the win. The loss drops ACU to 3-3-1 on the year.
