SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Air Quality Board is weighing a number of changes to industry, residences and small businesses as the state tries to come up with a plan to meet federal guidelines for reducing fine particulate pollution, or PM2.5

The rules, which have been approved by the air quality board to receive public comment but not formally adopted, are available on the following links as PDF documents.

Appliance Pilot Light. Public Hearing Date: Sept. 12.

Generator Testing. Public Hearing Date: TBD

Residential Fireplaces and Solid Fuel Burning Devices. Public Hearing Date: Sept. 12.

Fuel Burning Devices in Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah, and Weber Counties. Public Hearing Date: Sept. 12.

Commercial Cooking. Public Hearing Date: Aug. 15.

Fugitive Emissions and Fugitive Dust. Public Hearing Date: Aug. 15.

Outdoor Wood Boiler Prohibition. Public Hearing Date: Aug. 15.

Degreasing and Solvent Cleaning Operations. Public Hearing Date: Aug. 15.
