VaNeta Taylor Pyne1935 ~ 2012VaNeta Taylor Pyne born November 2nd, 1935 returned to her Father in Heaven February 8th 2012. Born in Salem, Utah, to Gennavieve Startin and William Albert Taylor, VaNeta was the baby daughter of three children. Growing up in Lakeview, Utah, she loved her childhood friends and remained in contact with them throughout her life. She attended Lincolon High School in Orem, Utah, where she was a Tigerette and played sports. She met Mervin Pyne and married him on June 19th 1953, in the LDS Manti, Utah, temple. She was the loving mother of 5 children. Other than a devoted wife and mother, she worked as a telephone operator, a real estate agent for Century 21, and as a secretary for Christensen and Griffith Construction Co. in Tooele, Utah for 26 wonderful years. VaNeta was a rescuer, "the fixer", the rock of her family and the answer to many prayers. She loved her family, and the outdoors, especially, beautifully skies, sunsets, and birds. She loved her neighbors and the LDS Church. She held many church callings throughout her life but loved serving as the patriarchal scribe. She will be greatly missed by her family until they are reunited with her in heaven. She is survived by her husband Mervin, sons, Roland(Holly), David, Craig, Scot(Tammy), daughter Stacey(Derek), Sister Twila Hardman, 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, aunts and uncles, a grandson and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16th 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS 14th Ward chapel located on 192 West 200 South in Tooele, UT. Viewings will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and prior to the funeral from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. All services will take place at the LDS 14th Ward chapel. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
