Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette is struggling in his rookie season with the Sacramento Kings.

What's going on with Jimmer? He needs to "think less and shoot more," according to the Sacramento Bee.

"The Kings have yet to see Fredette play the way he did as a senior at BYU, where he was a prolific scorer and the consensus national Player of the Year last season," writes Jason Jones. "Fredette has been asked to facilitate, but the Kings don't want him to forget what makes his game special.

As for the current Cougar squad, KSL.com's Randolph Fairbairn writes about BYU's week and a rundown of the West Coast Conference. The Cougars are ranked No. 8 in ESPN.com's "Mid-Major Power 15."
