BYU freshman wide receiver Ross Apo arrived at BYU last summer with plenty of hype. Apo, who verbally committed to Texas before changing his mind and committing to BYU, suffered a season-ending finger injury a year ago.

Apo is expected to be one of quarterback Jake Heaps' most effective weapons this fall. Watch Apo's interview with KSL's Jeremiah Jensen.

The Cougars open the season Sept. 3 at Ole Miss. Listen to 1280 the Zone's interview with Rebel offensive coordinator David Lee.

ESPN.com's Ivan Maisel mentions BYU in his story previewing the 2011 college football season: "Though 'The Book of Mormon' is a Broadway smash, the Cougars have borrowed a page from the Gospel according to St. Knute. BYU, like Notre Dame, has gone out on its own," writes Maisel.
