TORONTO — "Brothers and sisters of Toronto! What do you say?" shouted Killers frontman Brandon Flowers evoking an evangelical preacher shortly after he began his hour-long solo show at the Sound Academy on Saturday night with the slow opener, "On The Floor."
Yes, the married father of two (soon to be three) and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had touch of religious fever in his performance as he played most of the material from his solo record, "Flamingo," and a few Killers songs, "Losing Touch," "Read My Mind," and "Mr. Brightside," much to the delight of the assembled crowd.
