Prophetic directives: Using the prophet’s four conference addresses, this blogger found 30 things that President Monson directly asked members to do and lists them for our convenience. Here are a few: “If you have not read the Book of Mormon, read it,” and “May I suggest that if you are able, you might consider making a contribution to the General Missionary Fund of the Church,” and “I plead with you to teach your children of the temple’s importance.” Wow. Click in for the entire list!
Conference texts: One week after the English texts of the conference talks were posted, 17 more languages were uploaded. In years past, it’s taken four weeks or more. Click in to find instructions on how to access the conference talks in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Cebuano, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Russian, Samoan, Swedish, Tagalog, Tongan and Ukrainian. And thank you to the behind-the-scenes volunteers who made it possible so quickly!
