Red roundup: Ex-Ute Brown was worried about path of Utes' program

Former Runnin' Ute Carlon Brown, who transferred to the University of Colorado, tells the Denver Post that he "didn't like the path and direction the program was going" at Utah under head coach Jim Boylen. Brown will have one season of eligibility remaining after sitting out this year. He'll be eligible again when the Buffaloes join the Utes in the Pac-12. Get your tickets now.

The NFL Scouting Combine's official list of invitees has been released and it includes five former Utes. Running back Matt Asiata, defensive back Brandon Burton, offensive lineman Caleb Schlauderaff, defensive lineman Sealver Siliga and center Zane Taylor will represent Utah at the annual event in Indianapolis, which runs from Feb. 23-March 1.
