Utah's hiring of Norm Chow as offensive coordinator has drawn a lot of national attention from the media.

ESPN.com's Andrea Adelson analyzed the move and considers it a good thing for the Utes. The Orange County Register put together a photo galley on Chow's career.

In other news: Reuters ran a nice picture of former Ute Stevenson Sylvester of the Pittsburgh Steelers celebrating his upcoming trip to the Super Bowl. He'll be joined in the big game by Utah alum Chris Kemoeatu.

A couple of days ago, the San Jose Mercury News reported that former Utah quarterback Alex Smith met with new San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh.
