DALLAS — Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy know they have no more than five games left to analyze for ABC and ESPN during this NBA season.
When that work ends, it's anyone's guess when they'll do another game.
Both expressed concern Saturday over the direction the league's labor rift may be heading. More talks between the NBA and its players are scheduled to take place in Dallas over the coming days, though many still expect a lockout to commence when the current collective bargaining agreement expires on June 30.
Van Gundy says he thinks the NBA's issues may prove tougher to solve than the ones plaguing the NFL during its still-going lockout. And Jackson suggested getting both the NFL and NBA into the same room to get deals done.
