Carl Edward Jungst 1927 ~ 2011 Carl Edward Jungst, 83, passed away Monday April 4, 2011 after a short illness. He was born September 30, 1927, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Pat McKinley Josephson and Paul McKinley. Later adopted by grandparents Carl A. and Vivian Hiddleson Jungst. Carl served in the U.S. Military during World War II and graduated from the University of Utah in 1952, with a degree in business. He was a Major in the Utah National Guard in the Procurement Dept. He married Beverly Greene on August 15, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was active in the L.D.S. church and served in many callings. He loved to play golf with his buddies. Carl is survived by his wife Beverly and children David Jungst (Becky) and Sue (Doug) Bartholomew, grandchildren David Jungst, Lindsay (Lee) Bowers, Rhiannon Bartholomew, Rhyan Bartholomew, Alazaha Bartholomew and three great-grand-children. He is also survived by his brother Don (Peggy) McKinley and sister Charlene Mower. Funeral services will be held at the Sun River First Branch Chapel, 4461 Country Club Drive, St. George on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Visitation will also be available at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Burial visitation will be held Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Larkin Sunset Lawn from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. 2350 East 1300 South in Salt Lake City.
