Lenna Barber "LD" Lenna Dee Hobson Barber, 62, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her home in Draper, Utah. Her gracious battle with ALS was an inspiration to all who know and love her.Lenna was born November 29, 1949, the second daughter of Albert and Myril Hobson in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended elementary and secondary schools in Pocatello and continued on to Idaho State University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration. Her professional career included positions at Aerojet Nuclear in Idaho Falls and the IRS in Pocatello. In 1971 she married Richard "Rick" Barber, her best friend and eternal companion. Diligently serving wherever needed, she was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a skilled draftsman and designer, she enjoyed remodeling and designing the homes she and Rick lived in. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Rick; daughter, Hailey (Todd) Klements; son, Luke (Hollie) Barber; four grandchildren; mother, Myril Hobson; sisters: Sharon Howell, Renee Neider, and Coy Chandler. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church, 13112 South 700 East, Draper, UT. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 9:30-10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be continued in Rigby, Idaho Thursday, March 3, 2011, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID 83442. Interment, Little Butte Cemetery, Annis, ID. Her family requests donations in her name be made to MDA.
