F. Hugh Wiley Resident of Moraga, CA 9/21/1924 ~ 1/14/2011 Hugh passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, due to heart and respiratory problems. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah; graduated from South High School; and earned a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. After honorably serving in the U.S. Navy, he started his career as an insurance broker. Hugh was a generous, witty man with a variety of interests, especially golf, reading and camping. He was an active member of the LDS Church and was faithful in all his duties. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Joyce Woolley, his brother Franklyn Wiley of Redlands; his children Ann Brock (James) of Fairfield; Darrell Wiley (Debbie) of Alamo; Susan Mackay of Elk Grove and Craig Wiley of Concord; 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 11:00 a.m. at the Moraga LDS Chapel, 3776 Via Granada, Moraga. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.No graveside services will be held. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make donations to Latter-day Saint Charities-Humanitarian Fund.
