Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 made corsages and boutonnieres at the YMCA in Taylorsville as part of a day of service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The young volunteers also painted wooden cars that will be donated to the Christmas Box House. "Our youth love participating in service oriented projects. They are very aware of the needs in the community and excited about being able to help," said Angela Wright, director of YMCA Community Family Center.
