• Utah Rivers Council will kick off its water conservation campaign April 24, 1:30 p.m., at the Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South. This year's campaign is titled "Tour Your Toilet," with free advice on how to make sure your toilet isn't wasting water.
• Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert will hold an Arbor Day ceremony April 22, 10 a.m., at the state Capitol Building (northwest corner).
