Keys points of Provo's conflict-of-interest ordinance

If the conflict-of-interest ordinance had been approved, it would have required City Council members with a conflict of interest to:

• Abstain from voting on the issue

• Withdraw from the dais and leave the room while the matter is considered.

• Abstain from discussing the matter with any other council member as long as the conflict of interest is present.
