Salt Lake-based Intermountain Health Care has been named among the top 100 most technology-savvy health systems.
The survey was conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks, in cooperation with McKesson Corp. and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. It measured the country's hospitals on their use of Internet technologies for safety and quality, customer service, disaster readiness, business practices and work force issues.
IHC also was named one of three national finalists for the "Most Wired Innovator Award." Winners are providing health information online and are linking medical equipment to give patient readings directly into the medical record.
