Throughout 2003, the Salt Lake City Library System celebrates the opening of the new Main Library. As part of this celebration, the library planned the first annual Dewey Lecture Series, featuring monthly programs with noted experts from across the country and around the world.

The next lecture features William Safire, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, historian, and lexicographer, on Saturday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m., at the new Main Library, 210 E. 400 South. Free tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at all city library locations.

For more information, contact the city library at 524-8200.
