Today on TV

Published: Thursday, June 26 2003 12:00 a.m. MDT

NBA draft (5 p.m., ESPN): Five hours of live coverage to see who picks whom.

Amazing Race 4 (7 p.m., Ch. 2): One of the teams is having trouble getting along.

Friends (7 p.m., Ch. 5): Ross and Chandler do battle on the Internet. (Repeat)

The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (7 p.m., Sci Fi): I'm not asking that anyone actually watch this lame, live-action sequel. I'm just wondering if anyone can explain what this 2000 movie is doing on the Sci Fi Channel. Are the Flintstones science fictional? (Repeat)

Scrubs (7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): JD and Elliott maintain their intimate relationship, but on a casual basis. (Repeat)

CSI (8 p.m., Ch. 2): An audience member vanishes while watching a magic act. (Repeat)

Will & Grace (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Demi Moore guest stars as Jack's former baby sitter, who ends up moving in with him, in this repeat. Gee, maybe Moore can guest star on "That '70s Show" next season and play (her current boyfriend) Ashton Kutcher's baby sitter.

This Far by Faith: African-American Spiritual Journeys (8 p.m., Ch. 7): The conclusion.

The Pulse (8 p.m., Ch. 13): This pseudo-newsmagazine does, ahem, a hard-hitting report on first cousins who marry each other. Oh, and Bill O'Reilly tells everyone how he's right and everyone else is wrong.

Frasier (8:30 p.m., Ch. 5): Frasier feuds with a female financial reporter. (Repeat)

Without a Trace (9 p.m., Ch. 2): A teenager disappears from a mental hospital in this repeat. What this show has found is an amazing degree of success opposite longtime ratings juggernaut "ER." Not only will it become the first hourlong drama to survive to battle NBC's medical soap opera in that show's nine years on the air and survive to do it again the following season, but since rerun season began, "Trace" has been easily outdistancing "ER," winning last week by 5.71 million viewers. This is not to suggest that those numbers will hold up in the fall, but don't be surprised if it's a closer race between the two next season.

Primetime (9 p.m., Ch. 4): A report on leased car insurance fraud.

ER (9 p.m., Ch. 5): If you doubt that this show has become a soap opera, just watch Abby and her mother (guest star Sally Field) search for Abby's missing bipolar brother in tonight's repeat episode.
