The French supersonic plane Concorde makes its last landing at Le Bourget airport on the first day of the Paris Air Show Saturday. French Concordes recently ended scheduled flights. Industry officials said the air show had less American flavor this year as the Pentagon pulled its usual display of fighter planes over France's opposition to the war in Iraq. France's defense minister said she was worried that U.S. investors have been trying to dominate European defense contracting companies. American and European airplane manufacturers traditionally vie for orders at the annual air show.
