Alberta Van Wagoner Eastmond died on June 10, 2003 of natural causes related to Parkinson's disease.

Born to Albert and Anna Priscilla Turley Van Wagoner on March 20, 1925 in Midway, Utah. Lived in Lehi, Utah most of her growing-up years. While working at Saratoga Resort, she met her husband, Jefferson Nicholls Eastmond. They were married in Oceanside, CA on May 15, 1945. Jeff's professional life took them on overseas assignments to Turkey, Nigeria, Pakistan, Trinidad, and China. They also served an LDS mission to the Dominican Republic.

Excellent homemaker, singer, teacher, counselor, mentor, confidante, dear friend; Alberta was a most devoted wife and mother. Her life was filled with acts of loving service to her family, to her church, and to the community, both at home and abroad.

Alberta was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley (Ray) Dunn and is survived by three sisters: Maxine (Keith) Powell, her twin Anita (Bliss deceased) Fitzgerald, and Anna Loye (Ron) Vance. She is also survived by her husband Jeff and by her six children: Nick (Irene) Eastmond, Logan; Anna Clare (Earl) Shepherd, Salt Lake City; Janice (Bruce) Hathaway, Provo; Becky (Bob) Cushing, Salt Lake City; Dan (Annie) Eastmond, Salt Lake City; and Dave (Elizabeth) Eastmond, Riverside, CA; and by 32 grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at the Parley's 3rd Ward, 2615 East Stringham Ave. (2287 South), Salt Lake City. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lehi First Ward, 220 West 200 South, Lehi, Utah and on Saturday morning at the Parley's Third Ward, in Salt Lake City, from 10:00

to 11:15 a.m. prior to the service. Interment: American Fork Cemetery, 600 North 100 East at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook
