LaVon Devey Clark, 86, born Oct. 19, 1916 in Lehi, Utah to Olive Marsh and John Devey, Jr., passed away Sunday, April 13, 2003 of a short illness.
She married Horace Edgar Clark December 2, 1938. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, and a great- grandson. She was one of 11 children, eight of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Blanche Shattuck, and a brother, Ervin, both of California; her children, Diane (William J.) Rosier, West Jordan; Dale Clark, Byron, California; and Robert (Dorothy), American Fork. She has 13 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren.
LaVon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always found being concerned about others and doing all she could to help them.
Funeral Services will be Friday, April 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services.
Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
