A fat-rights group says Simon Cowell isn't just obnoxious he's dangerous, reports MSNBC.com.
The caustic judge for American Idol has told several contestants for the show that they need to lose weight to become a star, and the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance says his comments could be causing eating disorders.
"We think he has some insecurities he's trying to deal with himself," said Maryanne Bodolay, executive administrator of the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance. "And normally, we'd just dismiss him as a no-talent trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame."
However, she says, the Fat Activist Task Force has been busy writing letters complaining to the show.
