Kyle J. Nelson is the grand prize winner in the "Cover a Jazz Game Contest." The contest was open to people 18 years and older. The entries were judged on detail, writing style, humor, conciseness and clarity.

Nelson will be hosted at Saturday night's game as the Jazz square off against the Denver Nuggets. He, along with two guests, will meet Deseret News Jazz Beat writer Tim Buckley in the press room at the Delta Center prior to the game. After dinner, Kyle will have his picture taken with a Jazz player and be interviewed on Jazz Talk. During the game, he'll sit on press row alongside other sports writers. The real work begins after post-game interviews as Nelson will go to the Deseret News and write his report of the game on deadline.

The second place winner is Jason Peterson of South Jordan. He receives a Club Suite Night for 8 to an upcoming regular season game.

Ten Third place winners will receive Utah Jazz ballcaps.
