The governor's recent trip to Mexico is very disturbing to me. While the Legislature and supposedly the governor are trying to keep our schools up and running, the governor is in Mexico telling President Vicente Fox we will work on "how to educate Mexican immigrants."
One of the reasons for our fiscal woes is the influx of thousands of illegal immigrants. They are a drain on our Medicaid, our schools, welfare and hospitals. This idea of America, being a multi-cultural community, has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity.
Illegal immigrants should be deported and our border, which is in chaos, should be closed for at least a five-year moratorium.
All this is in addition to the many illegal aliens who are injured in highway accidents. Drivers' licenses should not be issued to illegal aliens, and motor voter registration should be abolished.
