"Loving Mother and Grandmother"
Una Caroline Mitchell Porter, age 89, passed away February 1, 2003 in Salt Lake City.
Born Sept 23, 1913 in Kamas, UT to Nathaniel Fred and Susie Hicks Mit-chell. Married William James Porter Sr. Dec 26, 1931, he preceded her in death Jan 8, 1989. She loved to travel with her husband and crochet many items for her family.
Survived by children, DeLoy (Valerie), Wilma (Jerry) Stens, Edward, Jim, Gary (Jolene); 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ver-na Hansen, Lois Anderson. Preceded in death by a daughter, Renee; grandson, Tim; and two great-grandsons.
Services will be Tues. Feb 4, 2003 11 a.m. Millcreek LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 4200 S. 420 E. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. Jenkins-Soffe Mor-tuary, 4760 S. State St. and Tues. at the church 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
