Boldest radio gamble KLO attempting to be a smaller morning-drive news station against KSL.

Busiest station manager Stu Stanek of Clear Channel, keeping track of 11 stations.

Coolest contest — The KBEE "Ice Block" event by "Todd and Erin" at Hogle Zoo on a record 107-degree July day where participants had to melt ice blocks by sitting on them.

Most confusing yet coincidental programming twistKSL airing its local "Sportsfinal with Bill Riley" show from 7-9 p.m. weekdays, followed by the unrelated syndicated "Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly" program.

Most well-informed radio host Bob Lonsberry, mornings on KNRS, who, despite his Rochester, N.Y., location, keeps up on Utah issues and news better than many local hosts.

Most energetic DJ Amanda Dickson on KSL
