A circuit judge in Pinellas County has ruled that the Chicago White Sox schemed to evade Florida's public records laws in its negotiations with city officials.

Circuit Judge David Seth Walker ordered White Sox officials to release by 5 p.m. Tuesday all lease documents and proposed agreements relating to St. Petersburg. He also ordered the Sox to pay court costs and attorneys fees in the case.

The ruling came Friday, hours after the Illinois Legislature approved a funding package to keep the White Sox in Chicago's Comiskey Park.
