Wilda Mangus Bryson Austin passed away August 6, 2002 at Evanston Regional Hospital after a short illness.

Born to Elbert Roy and Agness B. Mangus on June 17, 1926 in Cowley, Wyoming. Moved to Utah with her family in 1942. Wilda graduated from Davis High School, Kaysville, Utah in 1944. Married David J. Bryson in 1946. Later divorced. Married Loyal Austin, Later divorced.

She was an intelligent, articulate and spirited woman who enjoyed art, reading, gardening and the beautiful open spaces of Wyoming.

She is survived by five children. Karen Mortensen (Lee), Roy, UT; Craig D. Bryson (Toni), Smithfield, UT; Rebecca B. Talbot (Danny), Heber City, UT; Sidny Dyal (Greg), Mountain View, CA; and Teresa Bryson, Evanston, WY. 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Ellyn Frampton, Woods Cross, UT; Mae Potter, Washington, UT; Lonetta Murphy, Provo; LeRoy Mangus, Palm Springs, CA; Jewel Hepworth (Ted), Centerville; and Wallace B. Mangus (Ramona), Bountiful. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ileene Thurgood, and grandson, Todd Perkes.
