SALEM — The City Council at its Wednesday meeting will re-adopt its building code using an international standard rather than the national standard used in the past.

The change is state-mandated, Mayor Randy Brailsford said. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall, 30 W. 100 South.
