Best Friends Animal Society of Utah is hosting the Cat Days of Summer Adoption Fest, which brings together multiple local animal shelters and rescue groups with the common goal of helping dozens of cats and kittens find a new home. It takes place Aug. 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., The Gateway, 90 S. Rio Grande St., free admission, adoption fees start at $10 (utah.bestfriends.org/catdays).
