Tetsuya Kaneko, left, holds his son, Raito, while both of them cry happy tears after winning the 3-year-old division of the Strider Cup World Championship balance bike races at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday. Competitors from across the U.S. and 14 other countries, including Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Tahiti, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, raced their little bikes along a 750-foot obstacle-ridden course.
