What will the Senate do with the health care bill recently passed by the House? Peter Morici explains some of the intricacies of the bill in his article about it (‘It’s the Senate’s turn to ponder health care reform’ by Peter Morici, May 12).

It is important to realize that millions will lose their health care if Medicaid is changed. It is even more important to realize both of Utah’s senators are on the committee writing the Senate’s version of this bill. It is time to speak up to Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee. Write, call or visit them, asking them to make sure all Americans are covered with affordable health care insurance.

If they don’t hear from constituents, they will proceed without input that could save millions of lives and create a healthier America.
