SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Labor Commission has announced the appointment of Cameron S. Ruppe as the new director of the Utah Occupational Safety and Health Division.
Ruppe received a bachelor’s degree in emergency services administration with an emphasis in emergency medical care from Utah Valley University and the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy.
Prior to his appointment, Ruppe served as the UOSH Compliance Field Operations manager. During his career, Ruppe also worked as a safety consultant for companies large and small in several different industries. Additionally, he has worked as an adjunct safety instructor for the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College, a safety analyst for Newfield Exploration, and a safety coordinator for Flint Energy Services.
