Found a fun fact for everyone. Each American, young and old, is the owner of two acres of public lands, so to speak. As a country, so vast and beautiful, we have become the envy of the world with over 660 million acres of public lands. Here in Utah, we are blessed with the opportunity to access these lands. As a college student, I chose over my spring break to pay my way to Washington, D.C. to advocate for the protection of our great nation's wilderness, little critters and public lands. One thing is for certain. This can only be done by listening to the voices of our indigenous brothers and sisters.
By respecting our shared history and birthright, Americans are ensuring a future that we all can be proud of.
