Maxine Tate Shields Grimm, 102, whose pioneering efforts for the Church in the Philippines helped open the country to LDS missionaries in the early 1960s, died Feb. 10, 2017, in Tooele, Utah.

Robert A. Madsen, 82, who presided over the California Oakland Mission from 1991-1993, died on Feb. 2, 2017, in Salt Lake City.

Ardis Rast Price, 101, who served with her husband, Burton Horne Price, as he presided over the Samoan Mission from 1965-1968, and as matron of the Apia Samoa Temple from 1989-1992, died on Feb. 8, 2017, in Highland, Utah.

Frances Jeanne Hunter Young, 91, who served with her husband, Joseph Hagman Young, as he presided over the Ohio Cleveland Mission, died on Jan. 26, 2017, in Provo, Utah.
