An all-volunteer association of LDS ancestral family organizations was recently organized in Utah, according to information from the LDS Ancestral Families Association.

The LDSAFA “is a free registration, publication and support consortium for LDS ancestral family organizations,” according to ldsafa.org.

"An ancestral family organization is larger than a parent or grandparent family and includes the descendants of a common ancestral couple," according to information from the organization.

LDSAFA includes publicizing and supporting groups' genealogical and historical activities.
