Weber State senior guard Jeremy Senglin has been named to the Big Sky All-Conference Men’s Basketball Preseason All-Conference team.

Senglin is entering his third season with the Wildcat team, and last season he helped lead Weber State to the Big Sky title, the Big Sky Tournament title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. He earned Second Team All-District honors and First Team All-Big Sky honors last season and was named the MVP of the Big Sky Tournament.

He led WSU is scoring and was seventh in the Big Sky at 17.9 points per game and also led the Wildcats in assists and 3-pointers. He started all 35 games for the ‘Cats and scored in double figures 29 times. He also scored 20 or more points 16 times and set a WSU single-season record by knocking down 106 3-pointers. His 627 points scored during the season rank as the eighth-most in a season in Weber State history.

Senglin has played in 90 career games in his three seasons at Weber State and has been part of two Big Sky Championship teams and twice played in the NCAA Tournament. He enters this season ranked 11th in Weber State history in career scoring with 1,359 points and is fourth in career 3-pointers with 213. He has started 89 of his career 90 games and has scored in double figures in 70 of his 90 games.

Senglin, a native of Arlington, Texas, is one of six players, all guards, named to the team. North Dakota senior guard Quinton Hooker was named as the preseason MVP. Idaho State’s Ethan Telfair, Idaho’s Victor Sanders, Montana State’s Tyler Hall and Montana’s Walter Wright were also named to the team.
