Kimberley Gonzalez gives Salt Lake City firefighter Harrison Long a high-five outside Magna Elementary School on Tuesday after the Professional Firefighters of Utah gave new winter coats to all first- and second-grade children at the school as part of Operation Warm. Firefighters from Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Roy and Ogden were on hand to distribute new coats that were hand-picked for each child. The Professional Firefighters of Utah identifies a school each year based on the number of children eligible for free and reduced lunch, and raises funds to make sure those children do not miss school in the winter just for the lack of a quality winter coat. In past years, Operation Warm and the Professional Firefighters of Utah have raised funds and delivered coats to elementary schools in Ogden, West Valley City and Salt Lake City.
