At Salt Lake County Library's Costume Swap, patrons can exchange costumes for a token at select Salt Lake County libraries through Oct. 13, then shop for costumes at the Viridian on Oct. 15.

The Salt Lake County Library will host its third annual Costume Swap on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. through noon at the Viridian Event Center, 8030 S. 1825 West, West Jordan.

According to a news release, people may exchange costumes for a token at participating county libraries through Oct. 13. Participants can use those tokens to shop for costumes at the Viridian on Oct. 15. Costumes may also be donated in exchange for a $5 fine waiver at select libraries; limit one waiver per card. Remaining costumes will be delivered to charities throughout Salt Lake County, according to the news release.

Drop-off locations are Bingham Creek Library, Columbus Library, Herriman Library, Hunter Library, Kearns Library, Magna Library, Riverton Library, Sandy Library, South Jordan Library, Taylorsville Library, (Ruth Vine) Tyler Library, Viridian Event Center, West Jordan Library and West Valley City Library.
